How long do you need to tumble your rocks with the smaller units? I’ve got a small tumbler now (don’t remember the brand off hand) and it takes several days to get the rocks to the point that I want them. I’m wondering if these ones are any faster?

Thank you for the question Richard. It does matter which type of tumbler you are using and how polished you are wanting the rocks to be. Your quickest results will be with a Vibratory Tumbler. These will typically provide a nice quality polishing in about a week. The longer process, and the tumbler most people own, is the Rotary Tumbler. In a rotary tumbler, it is not unusual for the process to take about 4 weeks. Whichever method you choose, enjoy the process and the joy of seeing the finished product.
